When I'm asked to follow directions and use tools to assemble something, I need to dedicate two hours more than the average guy to put it together. Seriously. I wasn't one of those kids who enjoyed building LEGO sets. I enjoyed making my Dad helping/doing most of the building and playing with them after they were erected.

Saturday, I was tasked with putting together a crib for our daughter who's expected in February. I knew it was going to be an entertaining experience for my wife; watching me screw up, get frustrated and screw up some more before finally getting something right. Repeat process 20 times.

After a 2 1/2 hour battle, the crib was assembled and I didn't punch any holes in the wall.
